About Us

Syawal Mesra Engineering Sdn Bhd, also known as S.M.N.D., was incorporated since 21st March 2003.

We set up our first overseas branch office – SMND Thailand in the year 2013, 31 July, carrying mostly Industrial and automotive products including services.
SMND has since expanded into regional markets in Asia. Today the distribution and services support in Thailand.

We are in the trade business for equipment, machinery, tools, parts and spares and other specialized items; specializing in the Oil & Gas, and Power Plant sectors. Our major clients are from the government power plants in Malaysia, oil & gas companies, and chemical plants, as well as companies from the private sectors, private institutions and even private individuals.

Our strength is in assisting our clients in sourcing for and purchasing the unique and particular items required via our extensive networks of suppliers, principals and manufacturers, from both local and international companies.

As a result of strong growth and increasing support from our clients, and so that we can continue to keep up with our promise and service quality, it was decided for S.M.N.D. to set up a new Projects and Engineering Division to provide technical services and support, whereas our main team will continue to focus on our core activities of sourcing and purchasing.

Our core business is in the trading and engineering support services sector. Mainly sourcing for OEM equipment after warranty support service ended. The main industries covered are in Power Generation, Oil and Gas, as well as private sectors and institutions.
