Hardox 450 is an abrasion-resistant steel with a nominal hardness of 450 HBW. Hardox 450 combines good bendability and weldability with an option for guaranteed impact toughness (Hardox 450 Tuf).
\nThe products can be used in many different components and structures that are subject to wear. Hardox 450, with an extra 50 Brinell hardness over our 400 grade, provides better dent and abrasion resistance as well as longer wear life, so you can achieve even greater savings.<\/p>\n

Hardox 500 Plate<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Sheet<\/a> \u2014\u00a0<\/strong>The bendable, weldable and highly abrasion-resistant steel.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hardox 500 is a bendable and weldable abrasion-resistant steel, with a nominal hardness of 500 HBW. Suitable for applications that demand higher wear resistance.
\nHardox 500 increases payload and increases service life while maintaining good processability with guaranteed impact toughness when specified (Hardox 500 Tuf).<\/p>\n

\nEspecially suited for extreme wear conditions, it can still be cut and welded, making it an excellent choice for high-performance applications.<\/p>\n

Hardox HiAce<\/a> \u2014\u00a0<\/strong>The new ace in corrosion-resistant wear steel for acidic environments<\/em><\/p>\n

Hardox\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0HiAce, the latest addition to the Hardox\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0wear plate range, is an ace at fighting both abrasive wear and corrosion. It features the same excellent properties as Hardox\u00ae<\/sup> 450, with a Brinell hardness of 425 – 475 HBW and a minimum Charpy impact test value of 27 J at -20\u00b0C (20 ft-lb at -4\u00b0F).
\nHardox\u00ae<\/sup> HiAce is a true wear fighter, especially in acidic corrosive environments that threaten to eat away at your equipment. This corrosion-resistant steel plate helps to meet the challenges of corrosive wear environments found in municipal and industrial waste management, waste-to-energy plants, and in mining and process industries.<\/p>\n

Hardox HiTemp<\/a> \u2014\u00a0<\/strong>The Hardox\u00ae<\/sup> wear plate that can take a heat<\/em><\/p>\n

Hardox\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0HiTemp is a high-heat grade of Hardox\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0wear plate that provides a cost-efficient solution for wear resistance at high temperatures in the 300\u2013500\u00b0C range (570\u2013930\u00b0F).
\nWhereas traditional quenched and tempered wear-resistant steels lose hardness at higher temperatures, Hardox\u00ae HiTemp high-temperature steel delivers extreme wear resistance. Its properties are achieved by using high-quality raw material combined with a carefully controlled manufacturing process.
\nHardox\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0HiTemp is delivered as 5\u201351 mm (0.197\u2019\u2019\u20132\u2019\u2019)\u00a0plate. It can be cut, welded and machined using the same kind of machinery and technology as for conventional steel.<\/p>\n
